Eagle Cab South Bend Taxi & SBN Driver Terms & Requirements.

Eagle Cab Company, its Ownership Management hereby undertake all rights to develop and revise the terms of conduct and compliance for its independent contractor operators and/or self-employed member drivers to abide by; as the company sees fit to the following rules and regulations:

  1. Drivers and operators should accomplish the City of South Bend and Airport Authority Requirements:
    1. Obtain a State of IN chauffeur’s license and City of South Bend driving license
    2. Maintain commercial taxi insurance or insurance meeting the city of S.bend requirements (100/300k)
    3. Obtain an up to date annual Airport Authority operating decal
    4. Be able to pass health test, randomized drug tests, NEVER DRIVE under influence of drugs/alcohol
    5. Pass annual vehicle inspections and meter inspections in order to operate taxis @ SBN
  2. Your taxicab/van must always be clean non-smoking, and in good operating condition or maintenance
  3. Respect and get along with or collaborate with your fellow cab drivers and operators
  4. Treat all customers with dignity and respect, be polite even to impolite customers, do not defraud customers
  5. Respond to Eagle Cab Management communication and requirements promptly as needed
  6. Member drivers and contracted operators are required to pay Eagle Cab Co. a referral fee and/or monthly licensing fee which covers:
    1. Monthly SBN Airport Operating Authority fees/dues
    2. Our monthly bills for Office, Business licensing, Internet, Phone, Administrative fees
    3. Costs in marketing applications, web maintenance, advertising & promotions
    4. Fees can be paid in cash, credit card or mobile payment to Eagle Cab Co.
    5. Drivers shall be notified within reasonable time if fees or terms are subject to change
  7. Drivers are encouraged to cooperate with arranged payment terms for the successful continuity of business
  8. As long as a driver is receiving referrals or payment from Eagle Cab S.Bend Taxi or is operating @ SBN Airport then consider this an engaged independent contractor/driver arrangement meaning the Management of Eagle Cab Co. reserve the right to:
    1. Deny any driver from client referrals or becoming a team member of Eagle Cab South Bend Taxi
    2. Periodically examine paperwork to ensure drivers keep up with State driver’s licensing & insurance
    3. Dismiss any driver who does not comply with our set terms of conduct, payment, and regulations
    4. Deny liability for any violation/s against City Ordinance and Company Rules of Conduct caused by drivers
    5. Cooperate with SBN Airport & the City in any requests involving driver operating policies or violations
  9. Eagle Cab Company SHALL NOT enroll or work with drivers who breach company contract terms copyrights and trademarks. All Eagle Cab driver operators are held under standard non-disclosure (NDA) non-compete agreement as follows:
    1. Eagle Cab Co. disavows drivers from starting complementary competing and conflicting services online or offline within our similar industries of transportation and logistics, this is a violation of Federal Laws
    2. Eagle Cab Co. Management have developed business strategies and community good will over time therefore driver operators are restricted from developing competing and conflicting services for the time duration of being a driver operator and up to 3-5 years after they leave Eagle Cab Co. per standard State and Federal statutory law, this does not prohibit drivers from leaving or joining any other taxi company
    3. Eagle Cab Co. Management has the right to start and develop other logistical operations in transportation without disruption & competition from drivers who are members or operators under licensing of Eagle Cab Co. and within similar territory – this is a violation of standard enterprise NDAs in accordance to State and Federal Statutes, this does not prohibit drivers from developing a non-competing business
    4. Drivers and Operators alike are prohibited from sharing or distributing any sensitive company information or business practices or financials, prohibited from sharing or distributing account or client information, medical clients are covered by HIPAA Laws any unlawful dissemination of sensitive company information is a violation of Federal Laws & Statutes
    5. Eagle Cab Co. prohibits all individuals who depart from the company from continuing to utilize its company brand, logos, licenses, trademarks, images, decals, top lights and documentation to conduct their own business (illegally driving as Eagle Cab driver w/o being a paying member of Eagle Cab Co.)
    6. Eagle Cab Co. is not financially liable for independent drivers whom receive referrals from entities outside of Eagle Cab whereby OTR (over the road) problems or payment disputes may occur
  10. Eagle Cab Co. S.Bend Taxi transportation referrals are paid out within 2-3 weeks please communicate, coordinate and cooperate w/dispatch and the management team during the course duration of transportation to payment cycles. Please acknowledge that dispatch and client accounts require trip logs to track your jobs and payment, lack of driver logs or improper logging results in lack of payment from our customer accounts
  11. Eagle Cab South Bend Taxi Company shall NO LONGER be an umbrella company for other taxi brands or companies, or be the physical addressee for other taxi brands or companies online or offline unless otherwise acknowledged and approved by the Management of Eagle Cab Co., this has caused conflict we wish to avoid
  12. Eagle Cab Co. effectively sets terms and conditions found herein, and in our online company resources and abstains from any warranties, or liabilities caused by the sole negligence of independent taxi driver owner operators – drivers shall be responsible to conduct themselves and their vehicles in a professional and safe manner and abide by the Federal Statutes, Trademark Laws, the State of INDIANA and the City of South Bend and Eagle Cab. Co. rules and regulations

I understand REFUSAL to abide by the terms & policies in this document does not exempt me from abiding by over the road Federal and State Transportation Laws, SBN and City of South Bend Transportation Ordinances as long as I choose to drive or accept referrals from Eagle Cab Co.
